Peace Initiative for the Korean Peninsula
A key focus of ISC is promoting peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula through parliamentary diplomacy. As 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the Korean Peninsula's division, ISC recognizes the historic opportunity and responsibility to contribute to peace-building efforts in the region. Through multilateral parliamentary dialogue, we aim to create innovative diplomatic channels that can complement existing peace initiatives and foster conditions conducive to regional stability and eventual peaceful reunification.
The ISC provides a unique platform where parliamentary leaders can engage in constructive dialogue about peace-building initiatives on the Korean Peninsula, sharing perspectives and best practices from their own experiences with conflict resolution and reconciliation.
